Safi Qureshey is a successful technology entrepreneur, executive and investor for the last twenty-five years. Based in Southern California and having built AST Research, a Fortune 500 public company, Safi has developed deep relationships in the technology industry, public and private investment banking and Venture Capital community, and the local research universities. He also has experience and relationships in Washington DC, having served in the President’s export advisory council for four years and having traveled with three Secretary’s of Commerce to China, India, Indonesia and Thailand. Safi was member of transition committee of the new Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003.
Dave Katragadda is the Founder and President of The Seven Hills Group (“Seven Hills”), a diversified investment firm with public and private equity holdings across the education, financial services, healthcare, media & entertainment, and technology sectors. In addition to Quartics, Seven Hills’ portfolio includes investments in Phat Phish, an India-based media and entertainment company, Novire Technologies, which develops and manufactures GPS enabled tracking devices for the tracking industry and Miasole, an alternative energy company. Through Seven Hills Capital Management, Mr. Katragadda has been a top performing hedge fund manager executing a proprietary options tracking strategy he developed. In 1994, he co-founded and ran Smart Software, a financial data analytics company that was successfully sold to the McGraw-Hill Companies.
Mr. Katragadda is also Chairman and Founder of the Katragadda Innovative Trust for Education (“KITE”), which is in the process of establishing corporate training centers and academic institutes for IT education nationwide in India. He is currently the Chairman of the US-Asia Business Forum (“USABF”), closely involved with the Clinton Global Initiative and a board member of Good Samaritan Hospital (Bakersfield, CA). Mr. Katragadda holds a MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, a MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, India.

As Founder and President of Quartics, Sherjil is involved in all aspects of the management of the Company including developing the business plan to product definition, technical execution, business development and fund raising. In 1998, Sherjil founded Avaz Networks, which developed key ASIC solutions for cable and telecom networks, winning large customers such as NEC, Scientific Atlanta and Nortel Networks from an early stage. Sherjil brought in these customers, led the development of seven first-time-right SoC solutions, many of which were supplied to these large customers for deployment in multi-million quantities. Sherjil developed these early customer wins into repeat engagements rapidly turning Avaz into a multi-million dollar business.
Mr. Mishra also represents the Seven Hills Group on the board of directors.
