The Qvu™ Solution

Quartics’ Qvu™ architecture is the only technology of its type to accelerate the decode, encode and transcode of video content while also improving the image to Super Resolution quality. The Qvu™ solution consists of proprietary hardware, software and customized algorithms that work in harmony to deliver an unsurpassed viewing experience for stored, downloaded and streaming video content with reduced power consumption for extended playback time. Quartics’ VPUs completely offload all video processing from the central processing unit (CPU), significantly extending the battery life in mobile devices.
